WeekendNotes: Reviewing Lau Pasar, McCallum Park and Chop Chop BBQ, Perth City

I have started writing for WeekendNotes to push my writing further, so if anything goes up there that’s also related to food, travel and general things-to-do in and around Perth, I’ll be sure to update this blog with the links.

I’ve got two posts up there so far, so please do check them out (and check the food and places talked too)!

Lau Pasar Asian Breakfast Market at McCallum Park

  • Did you know that Perth now has an Asian breakfast market serving a whole bunch of Asian meals for brekkie? I didn’t know until I got dragged there by my folks to try it out. No regrets and I definitely want to go back for more.

Chop Chop BBQ

  • A review of a brand new Chinese BBQ restaurant in the heart of Perth City serving your traditional roast meats – sio ap (roast duck), sio bak (roast pork belly), char siew (caramelised bbq pork), pai chan ji (poached chicken) with either chicken rice or noodles.
  • Now I have one more place to go to satisfy the occasional roast duck or roast pork craving.
